Job Full Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes, with expertise in manual and CNC programming and precision measuring instruments. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read blueprints and work with various machining tools to produce high-quality components.

Responsibilities

Operate MANUAL and CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Program and set up CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
Utilize CAD software, such as Mastercam, for designing parts and assemblies.
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings.
Perform regular maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions.
Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices and improve production processes.
Conduct assembly tasks as needed and assist in tooling setup for various projects.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CNC programming (Fanuc preferred) and CAM programming techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machining issues effectively.
Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is advantageous.
