Shipping & Receiving Associate | Milford, NH First Shift | $23.00 - $25.00 per hour | Temp-to-Hire (possible direct hire for the right talent)
Are you a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment? Our client in Milford, NH, is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join their team. In this role, you will be the backbone of the warehouse, ensuring that raw materials arrive safely and finished products reach our customers on time.
Key Responsibilities

• Logistics Management: Oversee the packing, shipping, and delivery process to ensure seamless operations.
• Inventory Inbound: Receive and inspect raw materials from vendors, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
• Software Power-User: Process shipments daily using UPS Worldship and FedEx shipping software.
• Freight & Operations: Coordinate freight shipping and operate a forklift to move materials safely throughout the facility.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer navigation is required.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience with UPS Worldship and FedEx shipping software is essential.
• Equipment Mastery: Must have a prior forklift certification.
• Knowledge Base: understanding of freight shipping protocols.
• Compliance: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug screening (including THC).

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
• Shift: First Shift 9-5:30pm

Responsibilities

• LTL and container export experience, UPS, FedEx and freight forwarders
• International shipping
• 5 stable years-experience in shipping
• Computer literate
• Certified fork truck experience
• Detail orientated
• Good hand writing
• Key interfacing with stakeholders with customer service, outside customers for customer pick ups, managers and peers at all levels
• Must be able to stand, stoop and kneel and routinely lift up to 50 pounds
• Someone who can lead
• Manufacturing environment preferred
• Valid drivers license

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 40lbs

standing for 7 hours at one time
