Press Operator

Job Title: Press OperatorJob Description
Under limited supervision, operate progressive stamping press and other equipment such as overhead cranes and tool and die equipment to produce pre-assembly parts for the production line. Adjustments and setup are of a routine nature with normally close tolerances. Produce a variety of pressed parts and perform other duties as required by management.
Responsibilities

• Operate press machines and all auxiliary equipment with minimum supervision.
• Change over equipment and ensure quality of the product.
• Make changes in prescribed operating conditions as necessary to produce quality products.
• Inspect dies visually and assign preventative maintenance if necessary.
• Produce pre-assembly parts for the production line.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience.
• Machine operating skills.
• Production experience.
• Experience in setup and operation of press machines.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Tooling Experience.
• Injection Molding Experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Bardstown, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
