Integrity Trade Services is seeking an experienced Welder for our fabricating client.

Responsibilities

• Operates welding machine that feeds wire to bond materials
• Plans work by interpreting blueprints
• Determines welding position and type of metal to be fused
• Selects and sets up welding equipment
• Ensures welds meet standards and specifications
• Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of the company's QMS policies and procedures.
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Location: Hobart, IN

Schedule/Shift Details
This position will be a first shift position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Certificate or Associate degree in welding
• Minimum 1 year experience in welding
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Team orientation
• Crane operation certification required
• Forklift operation experience preferred, but not required

IL Paid Leave for All Workers
An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment.
