3rd Shift Stand Up Forklift Operator

PrideStaff is currently seeking a 3rd Shift Stand Up Forklift Operator for a refrigerated/freezer distribution warehouse located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

Job Duties:

• *** MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN A COLD ENVIRONMENT *** Environment is typically 34 degrees and freezers are below zero!
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently (equipment to include, but not limited to stand up forklifts, stand up straddle trucks, walk behinds, pallet jacks, double pallet jacks and radio frequency equipment, yard trucks)
• Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner
• No case selection or case pick, all freight is handled in full-pallet quantity.
• Move product to storage areas with proper equipment.
• Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment
• Comply with OSHA standards
• Report all safety malfunctions on equipment
• Participate in physical inventories, as needed
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed
• Must be able to meet production standards
• Charge or change forklift battery, as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed

Job Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of experience on the Stand Up Forklift within a warehouse environment. Must be able to pass a forklift performance test prior to start.
• Racking-3 years' experience
• Must have experience working in a refrigerated warehouse.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, at a regular pace, throughout the assigned shift
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, bend, and pull throughout the shift.
• Job stability and positive, verifiable work references
• Must have steel toe/composite protective-toe boots.
• Outstanding attendance is critical for success in this position. Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time and ready to work assigned shift

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.50 - $21.50 Per Hour
