Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading Property Management and Facility Services provider, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Old Bridge, NJ. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Building Operations Department supporting property management, tenants, and facilities teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently all essential for success in this role.

Location: Old Bridge, NJ (Some commute needed to Hillsborough, NJ)

Pay Range: $27-$30 Per Hour

What's the Job?

1. Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on building systems, following safety rules and procedures.
2. Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building issues.
3. Respond to service requests, tenant concerns, and emergency calls (24/7 on-call rotation).
4. Conduct property inspections, complete maintenance logs, and manage work orders.
5. Assist with construction projects, tenant improvements, and capital renovation coordination.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 5 years of commercial maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• HVAC certification preferred (but not required).
