Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance on ERJ 145 and CRJ 200 aircraft.

• Maintain and repair ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft, engines, and components according to specifications.

• Document maintenance procedures, including component damage, origin, and condition.

• Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

• Conduct daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations.

• Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components effectively.

Essential Skills

• A&P License or equivalent experience.

• Experience with airframe and aircraft maintenance.

• Previous heavy maintenance experience on ERJ-135 and 145 aircraft preferred.

• 3+ years of experience on any type of aircraft considered.

Shift

• Candidates must be open to working either the 1st shift (5:30 AM - 4:00 PM) or 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 12:30 AM) on a Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat schedule.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a non-climate-controlled aircraft hanger in Smyrna, TN, approximately 20 miles from Nashville.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
