Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Machinist and Programmer where you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, or multi‑axis machines. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of production through precise machine setup and programming.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi‑axis machines.

• Load raw materials, select appropriate tooling, and prepare machines for production.

• Monitor machine performance, adjusting feeds/speeds to maintain quality output.

• Conduct test runs to validate machine and program functionality.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Edit existing CNC programs at the controller using G&M code.

• Make minor modifications to toolpaths, offsets, and sequences as needed.

• Input basic instructions into CNC equipment based on project requirements.

• Troubleshoot programming-related issues and support machinists/engineers as needed.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.

Work Environment

The position operates on a 1st shift schedule, offering either 4-10 hour days from Monday to Thursday or 4-9 hour days with a half-day Friday. The work environment is a small shop with opportunities for growth.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waunakee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
