Join our dynamic team as a Milling CNC Machinist, where you will play a crucial role in setting up and operating CNC milling machines. Your expertise will contribute to the precision and quality of our machined components.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to blueprints.

• Conduct quality inspections on machined components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

• Complete 2-5 setups daily, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Perform tool changes and offsets to maintain machine performance.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills.

• Proficient in reading blueprints and using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.

• Experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive, medical, or aerospace.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 5-axis CNC machines is preferred.

• Ability to work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

Work Environment

Work on the 2nd shift from 3pm to 1:30am, Monday through Thursday, with training on the 1st shift from 4:30am to 3pm. Enjoy a 15% shift premium for the 2nd shift, though not eligible during the contract period. Join a medical device manufacturing facility specializing in surgical instruments, with approximately 100 employees. You will report to the Machining Manager.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
