As a 2nd Shift General Maintenance Technician, your role will be essential in maintaining and repairing various industrial machinery and equipment. You will utilize your skills across multiple maintenance crafts, including plumbing, welding, machinery repair, and electrical work, to keep our operations running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and executing repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment.
• Repairing building structures, floors, and stairs.
• Maintaining and repairing electrical systems, ensuring compliance with codes and specifications.
• Using welding and flame cutting equipment for metal fabrication tasks.
• Assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems for liquids and gases.
• Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and wiring diagrams to execute maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Assisting and training fellow maintenance workers as needed.

Desired Requirements:

1. One year of experience in metal fabrication and welding, including knowledge of welding processes such as arc, MIG, oxy-acetylene, and TIG.
2. One year of experience in industrial electricity with understanding of the National Electric Code, electrical installations, and systems.
3. Six months of experience in industrial hydraulics and pneumatics with the ability to read basic hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
4. One year of experience with industrial controls, focusing on motor control circuits, and machine control panel components.
5. Six months of pipefitting experience to layout, fabricate, and maintain piping systems for various applications.

Requirements/Qualifications:

1. A minimum of five years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience using the skills listed above on equipment similar to that used at GE Aviation.
2. Or successful completion of the Madisonville Maintenance Apprenticeship Program.

This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, and employment will be contingent upon satisfying U.S. Person status requirements.
