Skilled Welder - 1st Shift

Summary:We are seeking skilled Welding Team Members for a Direct Hire opportunity in a metal manufacturing environment. This role involves working with spot and robotic welders while also performing hands-on welding to produce high-quality parts. Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00am-3:00pm, Fridays when in overtime

Pay: $34.00-$36.00/hr

Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and troubleshoot welding equipment including spot and robotic welders

Perform welding using MIG, TIG, and stick processes as needed

Read and interpret blueprints to produce parts to specification

Use grinders, sanders, and other tools to finish welded components

Perform quality control checks and ensure parts meet required standards

Accurately complete timecards, production data, and inventory-related documentation

Maintain a clean and organized work area before and after operations

Communicate equipment issues and production concerns to supervisors and maintenance

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines

Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment

Support quality systems and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications:Experience with MIG, TIG, spot, and robotic welding required

Experience in a metal manufacturing environment preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
