Job Title: CNC and Manual Lathe Machinist
Location: Portland, OR
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $30.00/hour

Company Overview:
We are a growing manufacturing company specializing in precision-machined components made from a variety of materials, including plastics and engineered polymers. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated CNC and Manual Lathe Machinist to join our team in Portland, OR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines, including Haas ST-20 and DNH 700 series, to machine components from materials such as urethane, nylon, Teflon, and NBR.
• Create and modify CNC programs to meet specific production requirements.
• Operate manual engine lathes for custom or one-off machining tasks.
• Select and set up appropriate tooling for various machine processes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and written specifications.
• Use precision hand measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on both CNC and manual lathes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in creating, modifying, and running CNC programs.
• Strong math skills with the ability to perform precise calculations.
• Experience operating manual engine lathes is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar machining role within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of tooling, machine setup, and machining techniques.
