Facilities Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing support, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Department supporting the maintenance and safety of manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Range: $35

Shift: 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., 3 by 4 rotating schedule

What's the Job?

• Inspect completed work for performance and compliance with local building and safety codes
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing facilities
• Address issues such as leaks, electrical outages, plumbing, or HVAC inefficiencies
• Monitor systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and alarms
• Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers to ensure timely repairs and maintenance

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5 years of proven facilities maintenance experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work efficiently with cross-functional teams
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good understanding of building maintenance systems and local safety codes
• Proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
