Haul Truck Driver

• Communicates truck/job status to dispatch. Drives truck to transport materials for construction projects in a safe, efficient and timely manner while observing haulage.

• Loads and unloads equipment and materials as requested or required. Ensures that safety procedures are observed.

• Performs walk-around pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operations of truck. Maintains appearance of truck, keeps proper air pressure in tires, and checks fluid levels including oil, hydraulic, coolant and fuel. Identifies safety problems or concerns and reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor including near misses and areas where safety can be improved. Keeps a driver log for DOT.

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Preferred Education: High School diploma or GED

Professional Experience (Required): Minimum 3 years commercial driving with over-the-road experience.

Additional Experience (Optional): Excellent communication skills and ability to deal professionally with product suppliers, plant employees, dispatchers, mechanics and other drivers. Ability to read, write, and speak English.

• Other Requirements: Valid Drivers License, CDL Class A.

• May require a T endorsement.

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests
