Job Full Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and dependable Mechanic to work on roll-off trucks and related equipment. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and keeping heavy-duty vehicles in top condition.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Diagnose, repair, and maintain roll-off trucks, hydraulic systems, and related equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Complete work orders and service records accurately.
Maintain shop tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications:

Must have at least 2 year of recent hands-on mechanic experience (diesel, heavy truck, or equipment repair preferred).
Must have your own basic mechanic tools.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
CDL or ASE certifications a plus.
