Hiring Industrial Electrician

Join our team as an Industrial Electrician, where you will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. Your expertise will ensure the proper operation of motors, lighting, power distribution, and more, all while adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and site standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors, lighting, power distribution, and conduit runs (EMT, RMC, PVC).
• Pull wire, terminate connections, and verify proper operation of electrical equipment.
• Program and troubleshoot ABB variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Maintain and update electrical panels, ensuring compliance with NEC standards.
• Collaborate with controls technicians, engineers, and contractors.
• Assist mechanics with tasks such as pump alignments, motor replacements, rigging, and confined space entry.
• Participate in preventive maintenance (PM) programs.
• Use voltage meters, megohmmeters, and thermal imaging cameras to test and inspect systems.
• Support annual infrared (IR) audits of electrical infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate documentation and close work orders in the CMMS using a tablet.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with conduit, wiring, and schematics.
• Ability to work with preventive maintenance programs and facilities maintenance.
• Strong understanding of industrial maintenance and building maintenance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simpsonville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
