Job Title: Machinist Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Machinist Supervisor to lead our precision machining team in Naples, FL. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality production for medical and aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on machining expertise, and a proven track record in regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of machinists on 2nd shift.

• Train and mentor team members to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

• Operate and troubleshoot lathes, mills, and Swiss machines as needed.

• Review production schedules and allocate resources efficiently.

• Maintain compliance with medical/aerospace manufacturing standards.

• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of experience in medical or aerospace manufacturing.

• Proficiency with lathe, mill, and Swiss machining.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Knowledge of GD&T and precision tolerances.

• Familiarity with ISO and FDA regulations (medical) or AS9100 (aerospace).
