Air Vehicle Mechanic
As an Air Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing multiple R44 and 66 helicopters, each flying approximately 900 hours per year. Your role will involve maintenance, daily and annual inspections, as well as unscheduled and scheduled inspections. Ensuring the highest level of safety and maximum utilization, you will work closely with software and hardware engineers to attach and fit helicopters with additional equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance on R44 and 66 helicopters.
- Conduct daily, annual, unscheduled, and scheduled inspections.
- Overhaul and service helicopters to ensure safety and maximum utilization.
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to fit helicopters with additional equipment.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with rotorcrafts.
- Experience with R22, R44, or R66 helicopters.
- Completed Robinson maintenance course.
- Ability to legally work in the United States.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Full-time availability, working 5 days per week.

Work Environment
You will work in an office located in the hangar, engaging in hands-on maintenance and collaboration with engineers. The position requires a full-time commitment, working five days a week.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hawthorne, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
