Diesel Mechanic Or Hydraulic Mechanic

Seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and truck systems. This is a directhire position based in East Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair diesel engines and truck systems
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance
• Repair or replace parts (brakes, bearings, belts, etc.)
• Document service and repair work accurately
• Follow all safety and DOT regulations
• Communicate repair status and parts needs
• Maintain a clean, organized work area

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematics
• Ability to diagnose and test components
• Experience with general truck repairs and engine accessories
• Proficient with power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Accurate recordkeeping abilities

Qualifications

• Experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic
• Own rollaway tool cabinet and portable tool cart
• Chassis maintenance experience preferred
