HVAC Technician

Commercial Hvac Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of HVAC systems within our facility. The ideal candidate will be adept at both preventative and reactive maintenance, with a strong ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems including rooftop units, boilers, and chillers.

Responsibilities

• Keep HVAC systems running efficiently across the facility.
• Perform an even mix of preventative and reactive maintenance on rooftop units, boilers, chillers, freezers, and building automation systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair Building Automation Systems and components such as sensors, actuators, and user interfaces.
• Respond to open work orders and generated tickets for reactive maintenance needs.
• Order parts as necessary for maintenance and repairs.

Essential Skills

• HVAC: At least 3 years of experience working as an HVAC Technician in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Blueprint: At least 3 years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
• Rooftop Units: At least 3 years of experience performing repairs on commercial rooftop HVAC units.
• Chillers: At least 3 years of experience performing preventative and reactive maintenance on chillers.
• Boilers: At least 3 years of experience performing preventative and reactive maintenance on boilers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Plumbing: 1+ year of plumbing experience is a plus.
• Building Automation Systems: 1+ year of experience with building automation systems is a plus.
• EPA 608 Certification is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a permanent position based out of Yellow Springs, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
