Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, store, and ship products. This role may also include basic order picking and checking duties.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations.
• Stack, store, and stage materials efficiently.
• Verify inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Pull, prepare, and load orders according to requirements.
• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and RF scanners.
• Keep work areas clean and maintain warehouse equipment.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and minor maintenance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support physical counts.
• Follow all safety procedures, including OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Contribute to warehouse security and proper stock rotation.

Required Skills

• Proficient forklift operation.
• Ability to perform order picking and checking tasks.
• Understanding of warehouse safety and inventory control.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanning equipment.
• Familiarity with warehouse security and equipment upkeep.

Job Type & Location: This is a contract position based out of Marysville, OH.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
