job summary:
A Construction Manager is needed for a Swiss multinational manufacturing company for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutrition sectors, in the Portsmouth, NH area. This role is responsible for driving the schedule, ensuring rigorous safety/cGMP compliance, and managing technical risks to deliver the project on time and within quality specs.

responsibilities:

Oversee ECPC construction projects from initial kick-off through to final completion.
Act as the primary liaison and point of contact between the company and the General Contractor's superintendent.
Foster seamless communication and information exchange between internal teams and field personnel.
Supervise all on-site activities to ensure alignment with project objectives and specifications.
Manage and monitor the construction schedule, focusing on milestones and the critical path.
Resolve field conflicts and technical issues in collaboration with the GC to maintain momentum.
Compile and distribute regular progress reports, highlighting risks, achievements, and improvements.
Enforce strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and GEMBA safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
