Job Posting: Machine Set-Up Assistant
Pay: $22/hr
Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime as needed

We're seeking a motivated Machine Set-Up Assistant to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll be a key player in ensuring smooth production flow by preparing machines, supplying parts, and supporting operators across departments. This is a great opportunity for someone mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Supply production lines with the necessary parts to maintain a continuous workflow
Cross-train on various machines and departments to fill in as needed
Change tooling and assist with machine setup
Perform frequent quality checks and maintain accurate, traceable documentation
Inspect specifications and work orders for accuracy
Diagnose issues and troubleshoot equipment as required
Communicate effectively with manufacturing staff and management
Use reasoning and sound judgment to solve problems on the floor
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Follow safety protocols and support improvement suggestions
Work with hand tools (wrenches, impact drivers, etc.) and possibly load machinery
Support team lifting of up to 100 lbs
Walk the shop floor to check in with operators and follow up on tasks
Participate in additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with basic hand tools
Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical specs
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Able to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to work overtime and adapt to a flexible schedule
Capable of performing repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods
Team player with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
