Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring TIG Welders for a leading manufacturing company in Faribault, MN. In this role, you'll perform precision welding on aluminum materials and contribute to producing high-quality components. If you enjoy hands-on work and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as a TIG Welder:

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum materials, utilizing precise heat control and filler metal to create strong and aesthetically appealing welds
• Clean and prepare aluminum surfaces for welding, removing contaminants or impurities
• Examine and verify the integrity of aluminum materials to ensure quality standards
• Set up and adjust welding equipment, including torch, gas flow, and amperage
• Inspect finished welds for defects using visual and non-destructive testing methods
• Safely handle and move aluminum materials and welded components
• Monitor the manufacturing process to maintain workflow and address inefficiencies
• Accurately record production data in Epicor, machine settings, and maintenance activities

What You Need to Bring to the TIG Welder Role:

• High school diploma required; technical secondary education preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in TIG welding and MIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and engineering drawings
• Familiarity with different grades and types of aluminum and their welding requirements
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend plant directives in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
