Job Description

As a welder, you will perform MIG welding of steel components based on the specifications provided in blueprints and drawings. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all welding requirements are met with precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel components according to blueprint specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

• 1.5 to 3 years of MIG welding experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail and quality

Work Environment

Work in a shop environment alongside about 15 other welders. The environment supports teamwork and collaboration, with an emphasis on safety and efficiency. Please note that you will need to bring your own hood and gloves for the initial test.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gallatin, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
