Job Title: Electrician Job Description

As an Electrician, you will lead and motivate your team with a positive influence, ensuring project success. You will coordinate with owners and manufacturing representatives to test, troubleshoot, and commission 480 V power distribution equipment, as well as configure and modify electrical systems for plant production. You will troubleshoot and repair 480V and 120V panels, including power wiring, control wiring, PLCs, relays, and power supplies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team towards achieving project goals.

• Coordinate with owners and manufacturing representatives for testing and commissioning power distribution equipment.

• Test, configure, and modify electrical systems for production.

• Troubleshoot and repair 480V and 120V panels, including PLCs and power supplies.

• Maintain a high level of safety by participating in the behavior-based safety program.

• Build productive relationships with onsite client representatives and allied trades.

• Apply overall electrical and construction knowledge to projects.

Essential Skills

• Experience working with low-voltage power distribution electrical systems.

• Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in service, maintenance, and installation of new equipment.

• State-issued journeyman electrician's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Desire and experience being on-site for industrial electrical projects.

• Ability to be part of building a team and a culture.

Work Environment

You will work in data centers, industrial settings, commercial construction, and new build environments. Work hours vary per site, with employees working more than 40 hours per week but no more than 60. Weekend work may be required occasionally, with double pay for Sunday work and triple pay on holidays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Dulles, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

• Pay Schedule: Weekly Paychecks • First Paycheck: Issued on the Second Friday of Employment • You will accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) on a weekly basis at a rate that equates to a total of 10 days, annually. PTO accrual begins on your first day of employment and is calculated each week based on your regular hours worked. • Additional Compensation: • Per Diem: $120.00 per day worked - or applicable amount per company policy • Holiday Pay for field employees - per company policy • Extra Pay for Sunday field shifts - per company policy • Relocation Allowance (mileage stipend) - per company policy • Cell Allowance: Included in the total compensation package for this position is a cell phone allowance.
