Utilizing your strong knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements, the Transition to Production ILS Specialist is responsible for coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, program leadership, and other functional teams to ensure a smooth transition from development to production. This includes developing TTP plans, schedules, and documentation, identifying and mitigating risks, conducting readiness reviews, and monitoring progress to keep stakeholders informed. The goal is to ensure that all aspects of production are ready and aligned for successful product launch and sustainment. A strong TTP candidate will have to leverage their skills in the following areas in order to make a positive impact:

• Project Management: Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare and present reports, presentations, and briefings. Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across departments.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation and reporting. Keen attention to detail to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.

• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Familiarity with SSP Advanced Inventory and Logisitcs (SAIL) tool.

What You Bring to the Table:

• A Bachelors degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree
• Solid knowledge of Acquisition Logistics (a multi-functional technical management discipline associated with influencing design for supportability and planning the support infrastructure for a system by focusing on the integrated logistics support (ILS) elements and working with and across all IPTs)
• In-depth knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements (supply support; maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; technical manuals; training and training equipment; support equipment; facilities; computer resources support; packaging, handling, storage and transportation (PHS&T); design interface; reliability, maintainability and availability (RM&A), how they interact and how they are applied across a program, their effect on a system, plus how a systems design and changes affect the ILS elements)
• Knowledge of military/commercial requirements/specifications

Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $68,552.00 - USD $74,175.00 /Yr.
