HVAC Maintenance Technician

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain ammonia refrigeration systems, including chemical testing and treatment.
• Monitor system performance through regular inspections and data analysis.
• Utilize the Logix system to optimize ammonia operations.
• Train and support maintenance technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Document procedures, preventive maintenance, and standard operating protocols.
• Participate in PSM compliance audits.
• Perform maintenance on plant equipment and ensure proper licensing.
• Troubleshoot boiler system issues and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to improve quality and yield.
• Assist with wastewater operations and HVAC systems as needed.
• Complete required documentation for work orders and compliance elements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience with Anhydrous Ammonia Refrigeration systems.
• Certification in Ammonia Refrigeration Systems - Operator Level 1.
• Able to wear a full face respirator mask.
• Willing to join the Hazmat team.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Ability to learn about Evaporative Condenser water chemistry.
• Willing to work weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical proficiency and willingness to learn SAP/PPE systems.
• Experience in a food processing maintenance environment.
• Understanding of wastewater systems.
• Experience with HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of boiler operations.
• Experience with compressed air systems.
• Ability to use calibration equipment and troubleshoot electrical controls.
