Diesel Mechanic - Contract To Hire

Join a well-established shop focused on truck upfitting and customization. You'll install pre-fabricated equipment onto trucks such as DOT plows, service bodies, dump trucks, toolboxes, and more. This is a hands-on role for technicians who enjoy mechanical work and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Install truck attachments using hand and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and prints
• Install wire harnesses, lighting, hydraulic hoses, and final assemblies
• Eventually perform light fabrication and welding as needed
• Prep and apply paint for touch-ups and components

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and assembly/installation experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Fabrication and basic electrical skills
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
• Personal tools preferred

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorhead, MN.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
