Job Full Description

Express Employment is seeking a CNC operator for a company in Eldridge, IA!

Responsibilities of the CNC operator:

Operate modern CNC single-spindle lathe machines, including bar-fed and chuck-style machines
Set up and verify correct tooling, feed tubes, and materials
Load 4' bar stock into bar feeders; use hoists for material over 40 lbs
Monitor machine operation and perform in-process inspections
Make manual tool offsets and basic machining adjustments as needed
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Deburr, inspect, and package finished parts for the next operation

Requirements of the CNC operator :

2+ years operating CNC lathe machines preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong understanding of machine safety and emergency procedures
Ability to perform calculations using fractions and decimals
Proficient with measuring and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges)
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation & Schedule details for the CNC operator:

Full-Time
1st and 2nd shift available Monday-Friday
$18-$23/hour
