What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC bending, laser cutting, and punching machines
- Support initial production runs, assisting with fixturing, machining methods, and process development
- Read blueprints and inspect parts using calipers, protractors, tape measures, and other measuring tools
- Maintain high-quality standards by ensuring parts meet specifications before moving to the next operation
- Assist with troubleshooting operating or programming issues on laser-cut parts
- Sort, stage, deburr, grind, and clean sheet metal parts per production orders and drawings
- Maintain machines and work areas through regular 5S and TPM activities
- Monitor sheet metal inventory levels within the storage system
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, drill presses, power tools, air tools, and grinders as needed
- Participate in daily shop floor meetings and contribute to continuous improvement project
- Lift up to 70 lbs as required
- 2-3+ years of CNC machining experience (sheet metal preferred)
- Experience operating bending, laser cutting, and punching machines
- Strong blueprint reading and basic inspection skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Detail-oriented, organized, and quality-focused mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Monday-Friday
