Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring a Journeyman Electrician for a local industrial technology company in Baton Rouge, LA .
This company is headquartered in Austin, TX. They provide safe and reliable heating solutions while serving the chemical markets to provide innovative solutions for industrial heating applications. This company specializes in providing services such as flow assurance, process heating, temperature maintenance, freeze protection, and environmental monitoring solutions. For this role, the associate must be able to maintain an organized in-field stock of materials, deliver materials to work stations, assist or make cable pulls, run conduit, and erect cable tray. The rate will be based on experience and passing of the electrician test.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for Journeyman Electrician :

Testing electrical and mechanical circuits
Comprehending blueprints, schematics, and one-line diagrams
Installing and testing heat tracing systems
Must own a set of hand tools
Following electrical codes and regulations
Unloading delivery trucks
Maintaining electrical and mechanical systems and components:
- Must be able to assemble, install, and repair
Must be available for training when needed

QUALIFICATIONS & CERITIFICATIONS REQUIRED for Journeyman Electrician :

High school/trade school required
Electrical license
Industrial Construction Experience
NCCER certification or equivalent work experience
Valid TWIC card required
SCADA, PLC, and Control Automation i.e., Energy Management Controls, preferred
Can lead, teach, develop, and mentor others
Must have a valid driver's license or state ID and a social security card
