Join the largest U.S. manufacturer of carpet cushion and hard‑surface underlayment as a Machine Operator Helper in Salisbury, NC, supporting the grinding process and ensuring clean, safe, and efficient material flow in a fast‑paced production environment. Responsibilities include preventing contamination, feeding correct materials into hoppers, performing magnet checks, removing bale straps safely with proper PPE, inspecting scrap for foreign debris, and maintaining clean work areas. 

Pay & Schedule

• Location: Salisbury, NC
• Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Pay: $13.00–$15.00 per hour
• Attendance Bonus: Additional $2 weekly for meeting attendance standards

What You’ll Do

• Maintain steady material flow and prevent contamination in production. 
• Cut bale straps and remove wiring safely using required PPE. 
• Perform magnet checks and document debris levels each shift. 
• Keep assigned areas clean and follow all safety and environmental policies. 

What You Need

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills. 
• Good communication, organization, and reliable attendance. 
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, overhead reaching).
• Commitment to safety and quality, including ISO 9001 and continuous improvement practices.
