Custom Welder/Fabricator | High-Precision Stainless Machinery
Are you a craftsman who views a blueprint as a roadmap to a masterpiece? We are seeking a technical artist for a premier manufacturer of highly engineered stainless steel processing systems. This is not a "point-and-shoot" production job; it is a role for those who specialize in the high-stakes world of sanitary-grade stainless steel.
Join a global leader where your precision ensures the safety and quality of the world's food supply. In this "clean shop" environment, we value quality over quantity and treat welding as both an art and a science.
The Challenge: Beyond the Arc As a Custom Welder/Fabricator, you will move beyond basic assembly to build complex, specialized equipment from the ground up.
- Sanitary Mastery: Utilize GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) techniques to deliver high-precision, sanitary-grade finishes.
- Thermal Control: Expertly manage heat input on thin-gauge materials to prevent warping, shrinking, or distortion.
- Precision Layout: Independently lay out, align, and secure complex assemblies using combination squares, calipers, and rulers before striking your first arc.
- Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret 3D models and 2D blueprints to solve problems and optimize fabrication plans.
- Proven Expertise: 3-5 years of professional experience in both GTAW and GMAW (TIG/MIG) processes.
- Blueprint Proficiency: 3-5 years of documented experience reading and interpreting complex technical plans.
- Material Knowledge: Deep understanding of stainless steel characteristics and a solid grasp of shop mathematics.
- Versatility: Ability to weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions with consistent, high-quality results.
- Mechanical Aptitude: A knowledgable understanding of tools and machinery, including their design, repair, and maintenance.
- Highly Engineered Projects: Work on a variety of custom machinery for global food brands.
- Modern Manufacturing: Work in a facility where maintenance, cleanliness, and safety are top priorities.
- Career Growth: We support your drive for continuous improvement.
