Express Employment is seeking Qualified Material handler's 1st Shift Monday - Thursday 5am to 330pm

Key Responsibilities

Material handlers support production and distribution processes by moving materials, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies. Common duties include:

Receiving, unloading, and inspecting materials from trucks or containers, and reporting discrepancies to supervisors
Moving materials to storage areas or production lines using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
Maintaining accurate inventory records through regular stock counts, labeling, and database updates
Preparing materials for shipment by pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products
Assisting in kitting, allocation, and managing material expiry or condition requirements
Operating and maintaining material-handling equipment safely, including performing pre-use inspections
Ensuring the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Following procedures for handling hazardous materials when applicable, including obtaining necessary certifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or associate degrees may be preferred
Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments is advantageous
Knowledge of inventory systems (e.g., SAP) and supply chain management principles
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely
