Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Clinton, Maryland. This role involves caring for mothers and newborns in a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient outcomes.

Schedule:

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
3 x 12-hour shifts per week
Every other weekend required
Every other holiday required
On-call required: 36 hours in 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period

Unit Details:

High-risk Labor & Delivery unit
9 rooms / 13 beds
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Floating required within skillset (Mom/Baby, Postpartum)

Responsibilities:

Provide care to laboring mothers and newborns
Circulate for C-sections and high-risk deliveries
Perform fetal heart monitoring (FHM)
Assist with high-risk antepartum and delivery care
Triage obstetrical patients
Support interdisciplinary healthcare teams during deliveries

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
High-risk L&D experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Active MD RN License or Compact License

Required Certifications:

BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NRP
STABLE
C-EFM (required)

Preferred:

AWHONN certification
Triage experience
