We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our fast-paced food manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation. Candidates must have prior food manufacturing experience and be open to working various shifts, including nights and weekends.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our fast-paced food manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation. Candidates must have prior food manufacturing experience and be open to working various shifts, including nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mixers, conveyors, packaging machinery, refrigeration systems, and other production equipment.
- Troubleshooting - Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance - Follow all GMP, HACCP, and facility safety protocols.
- Documentation - Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Collaboration - Work closely with production supervisors and operators to resolve equipment issues and support continuous improvement.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, PLC basics, and industrial equipment
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime
- Familiarity with GMPs, food safety standards, and sanitation requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in hot/cold production environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with automated packaging lines
- Basic PLC programming or advanced electrical certification
- Knowledge of root-cause analysis and continuous improvement methods
