Integrity Trade Services is seeking an experienced Fabricator for a fabrication client in Hammond, Indiana.

Responsibilities of Fabricator

Operates fabrication shop and machine shop machinery and equipment, such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punches, to cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures
Reads job specifications and blueprints to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template
Positions workpiece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade
Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
Detects workpiece defects and machine malfunctions
Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, and scale from workpiece
Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, die, or workpieces
Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of QMS policies and procedures.
Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Location: Hammond, IN

Schedule/Shift Details

Monday - Friday and Saturdays as needed
6:00am-2:30pm
OT as needed ( must be open to starting at 4am-5am as needed)

Qualifications of Fabricator:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of standard and metric measurements
Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Team orientation
LOTO certification required
Crane operation certification required
Forklift operation experience preferred but not required
