Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician Job Description

As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for testing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems. This includes working with circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, and servo drives. Your role will also involve fabricating and machining components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts made from metal, plastic, and wood for various projects, equipment repair, and maintenance work orders. You will write, program, troubleshoot, modify, and repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment, and machine components, and perform basic administrative tasks such as documenting work performed through written or electronic methods. Your ability to problem-solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity will be crucial.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment according to standards.

• Diagnose and repair issues with machinery and equipment.

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

• Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

The work environment offers a structured schedule with two phases. Initially, from Monday to Thursday, work hours are from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm focusing on training and preventative maintenance skill development. Once proficiency is achieved, the schedule will shift to Friday through Sunday, from 6:00 pm to 6:30 am. This progression allows for comprehensive skill enhancement.

This is a Contract position based out of Troy, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
