CNC Machinist

Location: North Charlotte, NC

Available Shifts: 2nd Shift

Compensation: $22 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented CNC Machinist to strengthen our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has solid machining skills, and can handle setups, offsets, and programming (preferred).

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare, program, and run CNC mills and/or lathes (Haas background is highly valued).
• Review and interpret part drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
• Perform offsets, tool adjustments, and part inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Keep machines and work areas maintained for safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and correct machining issues to maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' CNC machining experience, including setup and programming.
• Strong knowledge of G-code and Haas control systems.
• Ability to read and work from technical prints and schematics.
• Sharp attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Self-driven, problem-solving mindset with strong teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting.
