Direct Hire CNC Machinists - $30 to $35/hr!

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Mills to machine airplane landing gear parts.
• Perform 1 to 2 set-ups per day for low volume parts.
• Maintain tight tolerances of +/- .001.
• Manage machine controls, including pulling and sending programs and tool changes.
• Interpret setup sheets and tool lists.
• Calculate offsets based on prints and adjust cutting pressures.
• Use precision measuring equipment to inspect parts.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years experience setting up and operating CNC machines in a job shop setting.
• 3+ years experience interpreting blueprints and setup sheets.
• 3+ years experience performing quality inspections using micrometers and calipers.
• 3+ years experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of programming experience is a plus.

Work Environment
You will work in a shop environment using machines such as CNC Lathes, CNC Gap Lathes, Millturns, CNC Mills (3, 4 & 5 axis), CNC Bridge Mills, and CNC Boring Mills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00/yr.
