Spherion is hiring a Painter in Canonsburg. The Painter position offers a 3pm to 11pm schedule with a pay rate of $19 per hour. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity. Training for this position would occur on first shift.

Job Description:

As a Painter you would be responsible for painting/powder-coating various products to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Painting/Power-Coating products to meet customer specifications
• Pretreating, cleaning, masking, and priming a variety of parts
• Performing quality checks
• Loading parts onto the line
• Sanding and correcting parts as needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Education: High School

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: 12 months

• 1+ year of powder coating and mixing experience
• 1+ year of experience with painting on a conveyor system line
• Experience in ERP systems
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic computer skills
• Inventory management

Physical:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
