Adecco Staffing is assisting a well-known Medical Device Manufacturing facility in Chelmsford MA with their needs for Material Handlers on 2nd shift! POSITION SUMMARY
Performs all activities required to maintain the storeroom and to disburse stores. Assures that items are correct, handled carefully, and inventories precisely. Maintains inventory records and proper paperwork for accountability of stores.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains and organizes the stockroom and the surrounding areas.
• Performs kitting of job orders, sales orders and move tickets by following the established procedure.
• Performs daily transactions in the computer system with high accuracy.
• Performs and reconciles daily cycle counts.
• Performs some heavy lifting. (50+ lbs)
• Operates a hand jack and fork truck.
• Assists the Shipping Department as required.
• Assists in year-end physical inventory.
• Assists in other material handling tasks as directed by supervisor or department manager.
Machines/Equipment/Software used:
SAP for inventory and materials management - Software
• 1-3 years of related experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
�� Be able to work on your feet for 8+ hours
Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.40 per hour
