Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $25 - $30 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Technician:

• Maintain all equipment in safe and efficient operating condition
• Overseeing maintenance activities
• Operate according to master sanitation plans, GMPs, and compliance with HACCP policies
• Complete basic administrative and computer tasks as needed to support maintenance operations
• Conduct routing building maintenance and upkeep
• Be available for after hours calls with minimal notice
• Team oriented
• Report system reliability metrics and downtime incident to leadership
• Thrive in team environment
• Oversee and coordinate contractor activities to ensure alignment with plant schedules
• Cross train in other positions in facility

Available shifts: Shift Timings: 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or related fields
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
• Electrical experience including troubleshooting with ohmmeters and working with PLCs is highly desirable
• Welding skills for fabrication and repair tasks preferred
• Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance roles is advantageous
• Work order management and record keeping
• Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document issues and collaborate with team members
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
• Basic understanding of customer service principles to support internal clients effectively
• Thorough understanding of food plant sanitation methods, materials and documentation
• Basic understanding of Microsoft office applications
• Forklift operation. (after certification)
• Ability to quickly and effectively trouble shoot mechanical problems
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable and reliable
• High School or equivalent
• Drivers License
