We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee and manage the welding department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising welders, maintaining safety standards, and improving overall productivity. This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in welding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include supervising, training, and evaluating employees to ensure high-quality workmanship. You will assign tasks and monitor daily welding operations to meet production deadlines. Ensuring all welding activities comply with company quality standards, blueprints, and welding procedures is also part of the role. Maintaining a safe working environment by enforcing safety procedures and OSHA regulations is critical. Collaborating with other teams to improve processes and efficiency, managing and maintaining welding equipment, keeping accurate records of production, employee performance, and material usage, and troubleshooting and resolving welding-related issues in production are also important duties.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 5 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or structural steel environment, prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role, strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards, proficiency in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols, ability to lead and motivate a team to meet production goals, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, familiarity with industry regulations such as AWS and OSHA standards, and knowledge of robotic welding systems is a plus.
