Farm Equipment Mechanic

We have a 91-year track record of excellence in supplying and servicing the agricultural market with the equipment and we are still growing. We need to hire additional Farm Equipment Mechanics.

In this position, you work with a team of mechanics to service all types of equipment but specializing in tractor or combine repairs. You will repair the latest equipment from Massey Ferguson, Gleaner, Versatile and over 20 short line manufacturers including the heritage brands of Allis Chalmers, Agco Allis, Challenger, Deutz and White. You will diagnose and troubleshoot in order to do the needed repairs, setup and predelivery of new equipment, and you will be responsible for all phases of the repair, from talking to customers regarding the issue and report to them what the repair was.

You should be a self-starting personality, with experience either in farm equipment repairs or in the service mechanic industry (both would be ideal, of course). We will provide a seasonal training program, as well as management support and a positive family type environment you will enjoy! You should bring your:

• 3+ years' experience in equipment repairs, technical training or in the service mechanic industry
• Excellent written, verbal, and in-person communication skills
• Attention to detail; completing reports, forms, and orders properly is critical in this position
• Your own basic tools to complete repairs
• Ability to build strong relationships with our customers
• Desire to succeed and build a career

This position is located at our facility in southeastern MN.
