Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to handle material movement and manage pallets using a sit-down forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move and manage pallets.
• Ensure efficient material handling in a production setting.
• Assist in machine operation and production line tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift.
• Experience with extrusion, production, and machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with extrusion machines, gluer, and packager operations.

Work Environment

The work environment is a machine shop that is quite dirty due to the nature of the product, which involves grinding coconut shells into a fine black carbon powder. While the machines are not loud, the black charcoal can stain clothing, so appropriate attire is recommended.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Temecula, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
