Job Description
Position: Welder / Fabricator
Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina
Pay: $32-$36 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 45-55 hours per week
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This position involves setting up welding machines, reading and interpreting blueprints, and performing a wide range of welding, cutting, grinding, and finishing tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure high-quality workmanship on every project.
Requirements:
• Up-to-date welding certificates (up to 4G)
• OSHA 10 or higher certification (required)
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Valid driver's license
Key Responsibilities:
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Install and repair equipment and components
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
• Operate additional machinery such as forklifts when required
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
• Two to three years of experience in welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing work
• Proficiency with welding tools, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and follow verbal instructions
• Physically capable of performing the demands of the job
• Experience welding aluminum (one year or more preferred)
