Express Employment Professionals Dayton South is now hiring for a Production Machine Operator, located in Kettering, OH for $17.50/hour!

Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm Mandatory OT on Fridays when needed

Essential Job Functions:

Learns industrial math, print reading, and machining theory related to the department they are assigned.
Under the guidance of the Trainer or Team Leader, the operator learns skills related to the department which they are assigned.
Loads raw material and unloads finished product from machine.
Performs basic deburring on product.
Learns basics of safety, sawing, drilling, materials, turning, and speeds and feeds.
Learns safe operation of & receives practical experience on machines within the department they are assigned.
Follows sequence of operation on router.
Communicates with co-workers, and team leader to receive instructions and coordinate activities.

Job Classification Requirements:

Must be a high school graduate with previous manufacturing experience.
Must have at least 2 years CNC experience.
Must have manual lathe experience.
Must have a good work ethic.
Must be dependable and flexibly with a good attendance record.
Must be detailed oriented.
Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor.
Exerts between 10 and 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Always adheres to company safety policies.

Employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other duties as requested.
