Join Our Team as an Experienced Plumber!

As an Experienced Plumber, you play a vital role in the installation of plumbing systems for new construction projects, while ensuring the safety and quality standards are met. You will also mentor and oversee Apprentice Plumbers, helping to shape their skills for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and manage drain-waste-vent (DWV) systems, water lines, tub sets, gas lines, and pumps in accordance with industry codes and company quality standards.
• Comprehensively understand and apply state plumbing codes to all tasks.
• Read and interpret project blueprints, job site plans, and builder start packs accurately.
• Provide insightful direction and mentorship to apprentices, fostering their growth through guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Prepare thoroughly by organizing materials, staging supplies, and conducting walkthroughs prior to project initiation.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and truck, ensuring a professional appearance and proper tracking of materials.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to adhere to the work schedule.
• Uphold safety and quality standards consistently in all work performed.
• Embody and promote the company's core values, exhibiting pride in your workmanship through first-time quality results.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with team members across various trades.
• Exhibit a strong work ethic to apprentices and trainees, modeling best practices in plumbing.
• Engage in daily communication with the superintendent and other trades during morning meetings to meet project needs efficiently.
• Timely completion of administrative tasks, including time sheets and job documentation, to meet necessary deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated strong work ethic.
• Excellent verbal communication abilities.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Able to read, write, and interpret documents including safety guidelines and blueprints.
• Critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Apprentice licensing as per state requirements.
• Familiarity with National/Local Plumbing Codes.
